At the latest edition of the RPG Learning Series held in September 2022, Dr Sujeet Rajan, a practicing respiratory physician at Mumbai, addressed the audience as the guest speaker. Practicing at Bhatia Hospital and the Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, both in Mumbai, Dr Rajan has a sub-speciality in Interstitial Lung Disease and runs an ILD clinic in the city, as well.
In his address, Dr Rajan spoke about the longer lasting effects of Covid-19 on humans. He assuaged fears, shared tips on precautionary measures that everyone should take, and demystified the effects of the new variants on the human body.
The interactive session was thoroughly enjoyed by participants as they gained new insights into the pandemic that has been wreaking havoc globally for over two years now.
Hosted annually across India’s premier B-Schools, the RPG Blizzard case study competition puts future business leaders in the driver’s seat and tests their creative problem solving skills. This year, over 750 participating teams were asked to work on an ‘Idea Challenge’ where they would suggest ideas for new business development at RPG Group companies.
After a fierce battle that lasted seven months, and over several rounds of competition, the grand finale of RPG Blizzard held at RPG House in October, saw six teams from IIM Lucknow, NITIE Mumbai, IMI New Delhi, IIM Kozhikode and MDI Gurgaon fighting it to the finish.
The team from MDI Gurgaon took home the bragging rights as winners of the 2022 edition of RPG Blizzard, while IIM Lucknow and NITIE Mumbai were declared as runners-up. In addition to exciting cash prizes, the three winning teams were also given premium access to pre-placement interviews at RPG. Many congratulations to all the teams and participants for a truly well-contested and memorable competition.
RPG’s infra arm, KEC International, has won two major awards in the last quarter for its superior execution capabilities and its contribution to the power sector. It bagged the ‘Most Admired Company in the Power Sector’ award at the prestigious Economic Times Infra Focus Awards 2022. This award is a result of KEC’s sustained leadership in the Power T&D industry and its significant contribution towards delivering critical, nation-building projects across the globe.
KEC also won the ‘Excellence in Innovation - Indian Company in USA’ award at the Indo-American Corporate Excellence Awards 2022, which is a testament to its outstanding performance in the Americas region.
The RPG Innovation Festival is an annual mega-event that celebrates the Group’s innovative culture and spirit. Held on 1st March each year — marking the birth anniversary of our Founder, Dr RP Goenka — this event provides a collaborative platform for RPGians to ideate, innovate and learn something new from their peers at work or experts from the industry.
Over the years, the popularity of the festival as well as the calibre of the participants has continued to rise, clearly indicating the growing demand for Innovation at RPG.
