Editorial

Welcome to the latest edition of RPGCOM, the internal magazine of the RPG Group. In this special edition, we bring you stories of innovation and excellence from across our Group companies.

CEAT, our flagship tyre company, has become the first tyre maker in the world to receive the prestigious Lighthouse Designation by the World Economic Forum for its Halol plant in Gujarat, which leverages cutting-edge technologies to transform its operations and become more competitive.

The fifth season of our annual Innovation Festival concluded in March with a record number of entries across different categories of innovation. We received 747 entries from various Group companies spanning product innovation, process innovation, customer-centric innovation, social innovation and business model innovation.

Among the unique initiatives being driven across RPG are the Happiness Councils. Each Group company is guided by a Happiness Council, chaired by its senior leaders who are involved in implementing organisation-wide initiatives through multiple touch points.

In this issue of the magazine, we dive deep into Zensar’s Happiness Council, and find out what fuels its success, and how it has been able to make a positive difference to its people across locations.

We also bring you reports on two important events that were hosted in March — RPG Happiness Day, which marks the birth anniversary of our founder Dr Rama Prasad Goenka and honours the top achievers in our group; and Women’s Day celebrations.

We hope you enjoy reading this edition of RPGCOM, and find it informative and inspiring.

We also welcome your feedback and suggestions on how we can make this magazine better and more relevant for you. Please write to us at [email protected] with your comments and ideas.

Thank you once again for your continued support and engagement.
